What is the capacity of the Hall?
We can accommodate between 60-80 people in the Hall depending on your seating arrangements and layout.
Is the Hall accessible to all?
Yes the Hall is fully accessible to all and there is wheelchair access and toilet facilities too. There are no significant floor changes inside.
Do you have any restrictions on who can hire the Hall?
We do not hire the Hall to anyone aged less than 18 years, nor to anyone who may still owe money to the Hall for any reason. There may be some activities or events for which we would choose not to hire out the Hall; please do contact us to find out more.
Can I visit the Hall beforehand to see if it is suitable?
Absolutely, we welcome prior visits to enable you to be sure that our Hall meets your requirements for your event. Please contact the Bookings Secretary to arrange your visit
What access is there to the kitchen?
The kitchen is directly accessible from the entrance hall. There is also a serving hatch from the kitchen into the hall. The use of the kitchen is included in the hall hire
What appliances are available in the kitchen?
There is a cooker (grill and oven), domestic microwave, fridge and a kettle. You must bring your own bin bags and tea towels, as these are not provided.
Do you have cutlery, wine glasses, beer glasses, cups, saucers, plates?
No, we request that you bring your own.
What are the payment terms to hire the Hall?
We request a holding deposit in advance in the event of damages. Payment is due on collection of the key.
What payment methods are accepted?
We accept cash and cheques.
Is there any free time allowed for setting up and/or clearing up?
We ask that you book and pay for all the time you will be in occupation; this will include any time necessary for setting-up and clearing down.
Do you supply tables and chairs?
Yes there are 6 large tables and 50 standard chairs. We also have 3 children's tables and 20 chairs.
Can I hire the hall on Sunday for a children's party?
No, the hall is not available for hire on a Sunday.
Can I hire the hall for my 40th birthday?
No, the only parties that are permitted at the hall are for children's parties - we do not hire out the hall for adult parties.
